The Heil Recycle 2000 is a split body, two-stream semi-automated recycling system. The two large
bins can be manually loaded during curbside collection of bagged or bundled recyclables, while the
bin lift operation automatically dumps each bin into the appropriate body chamber. Typically,
newsprint is loaded into the bottom chamber of the vehicle, and co-mingled recyclables are
deposited into the top chamber.
Rolling carts can also be dumped easily by incorporating a variety of bin latch options, depending on
the style of cart.
The dual “bubble” tailgates allow the two body
chambers to be emptied independently, for ease
of unloading at the recycling facility.
The Recycle 2000 is a proven efficient and highly
reliable recycling vehicle for communities that separate their recyclables into two streams. Its
superior compaction and generous payloads allow the R2000 to collect more homes per day
than most comparable units. Bigger payloads,
however, are achieved with minimal breakage of glass in co-mingled recyclables due to the unique
packing system.
Key Features of the Recycle 2000 include
• Fast 12-second cycle bin lift
• Bin lift cylinders cushioned up and down for smooth and quiet operation
• Unique Dual Swing-Link packing mechanism packs recyclables or any two commodities into
two separate compartments
• Ease of maintanance
• Sizes Available: 33, 38 Cubic Yards
