ESG team members,
Based on the events and demonstrations in our country and communities, I want to remind each of you of our ESG Team Terra values where #1 is “Always treating Team Members with respect and dignity.”
The diversity of the ESG team is a source of strength and competitive advantage, and as such we have zero tolerance for behaviors that are discriminatory, offensive, or demeaning to others. This includes activity on social media. See the excerpt below from Dover and ESG’s social media policy:
The same basic principles and guidelines included in the Dover Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the Code) apply to your activities in Social Media. You are ultimately responsible for what you post online in any Social Media application. Before creating and posting content, consider some of the risks and reward involved in what you say or post. Keep in mind that any of your conduct in Social Media that adversely affects your job performance, the job performance of your fellow employees, customers, suppliers, people who work on behalf of Dover or its legitimate business interest, or otherwise violates this or other company policy, may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
I would also encourage all of you to review the social media policy in its entirety for Dover and ESG:
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your direct supervisor, HR business partner, or any leadership team member.
